Create a snap fit storage container

In this section of the project, you’ll use your knowledge of components and subassemblies to stay organized as you use the Split Body tool and plastic design tools to turn the base component into a storage area. This area should be large enough to store cables, chargers, earbuds, and other accessories.

After completing this section, you’ll be able to:

• Create components and subassemblies within a design.
• Use the Split Body tool to separate a body into mating parts.
• Create a lip feature using the Plastic design tools.
• Create a snap fit feature using the Plastic design tools.
• Use the Offset Face tool to create allowance between moving parts.
