Our products use global cloud infrastructure with multiple availability zones and data recovery controls.
Autodesk maintains three edge locations with dedicated availability zones and dedicated data backup and recovery. All traffic into our production networks is denied by default and must traverse a fully redundant, fault-tolerant infrastructure.
Automated data backups help ensure that data is recoverable if there is an outage or failover. Periodic tests of recovery strategies help Autodesk decrease the likelihood of service outages and increase ransomware resilience.
We monitor processing capacity and usage to manage demand and enable additional capacity to meet system requirements. Autodesk has dedicated 24x7 Cloud Service Operations and Incident Response teams who monitor and manage risks to availability.
We follow rigorous procedures for critical activities: software release management, hardware and operating system upgrades, and system health monitoring.
We strive for effective patch deployment with minimal impact to customer experience. Where possible, automation is in place to check for new patches and prepare deployment lists that are approved by authorized security personnel. We maintain separate staging and production environments to safely deploy and test patches.
Our incident management policy defines best practices for driving incident resolution and is guided by the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 framework. The goal of the policy is to collect and distribute incident information so that processes are continuously improved and future responses are driven by accumulated knowledge.
Customer data is replicated between data centers in separate locations. Replication mitigates the possibility of data loss or delay in service if failover to a backup data center is required. For cross-border transfer of personal data and suitable safeguards, see the Autodesk Privacy Statement.
Autodesk’s capacity management policy helps maintain a high level of availability by collecting and adjusting computing resources based on resource usage statistics. We routinely conduct performance and load tests to help ensure our services are resilient during usage spikes.
Report suspicious activity, malware, a data concern, or other security incident regarding an Autodesk product or service.
Reduce your risks of malware exposure and software failure by using genuine Autodesk software built by Autodesk.
